Quality Assurance / Quality Management

Quality Assurance can only be successful when it is initiated right from the start during requirement definition phase. Therefore, a Quality Manager should be involved form the start of project initiation.

During requirement specification at least the following aspects should be considered:

  • completeness of requirements, including special cases
  • user ergonomics, training and documentation needs
  • performance and load requirements
  • operability of solutions, including monitoring, etc.

These aspects should be stated as acceptance criteria for project deliverables. The aspects mentioned above are the basis for the further quality assurance process within the project.

During subsequent project phases the Quality Manager is involved in project development, test and implementation as a steering partner of the project management, as well as a lawyer of the requestor/user.
